Flexibly connected and integrated into almost any IT environment, highly economical and very fast – these are the key features and also the key benefits of the new Konica Minolta bizhub C31P. In addition, the bizhub C31P offers users brilliant print quality along with the possibility of effective cost control. This new colour printer thereby caters perfectly for the needs of small business teams and workgroups.

It ensures compatibility with PostScript 3 and PCL 6, and with an optional hard disk, native support of XPS, Microsoft Vista’s XML paper specification is also available."

The new full colour printer allows users to produce a wide variety of documents in-house. It can handle a broad range of paper sizes, reaching from A6 format via A4 up to banner format with a length of up to 1.2 metres. Finishing capabilities such as an optional stapler for up to 30 pages and a sorting function add to its aptitude for producing high quality colour output for different occasions and uses. Colours and overall image quality are made sure to last: Simitri HD high definition polymerised toner, which is deployed in the new bizhub C31P, features an extraordinary fade resistance.

When it comes to software the new C31P sets benchmarks. In its general support of PageScope functionality it is comparable to multifunctional products (MPFs). The new bizhub C31P supports Konica Minolta’s native device management solution featuring PageScope WebConnection, PageScope Data Administrator and PageScope NetCare. With these software components, managing the printer is as easy as it is straightforward. All important user operations can be conveniently carried out from one’s own desktop. PageScope Data Administrator provides limited access rights which can be assigned to individual user groups.

The PageScope NetCare Device Manager helps the administrator to ensure constant high productivity of all registered output devices by monitoring the devices, their availability and their performance. At the same time, this PageScope module provides a convenient web interface for the quick and easy configuration of network settings and machine details.

Featuring these PageScope components the bizhub C31P fits perfectly into the iDoc concept. Konica Minolta’s intelligent document consulting, iDoc for short, analyses the economics and efficiency of the document creation and production processes within an organisation, taking a 360-degree view to discover potential savings.
