Konica Minolta has relaunched the brand identity for DEVELOP, its owned brand in the B2B solutions market for enterprise-wide printing and document workflows. Since the DEVELOP acquisition by Konica Minolta in 2012, this is the first true rebranding of DEVELOP underlining Konica Minolta´s dual brand strategy and strengthening DEVELOP´s market positioning by a new brand vision and brand proposition.


DEVELOP´s portfolio covers mainly MFPs for the office segment, digital presses for the field of production printing as well as software solutions and mobile printing applications. Whereby, DEVELOP is putting a focus on smaller SMBs with local and regional business reach. 

DEVELOP has always seen itself as kind of challenger to the larger print brands on the market. Where they might be able to offer scale and tailor-made, DEVELOP has the ability to offer speed and personal services to their customers. A main differentiator is that DEVELOP offers turnkey solutions – products and services that are ‘ready to use’ with minimal fuss and little IT expertise required. This is highly reflected in the new brand identity: Taking the complexity out of print and document solutions through local expertise and accessible products is the way of “powering smarter business” – which is DEVELOP´s new brand tagline.
